Ardor Agency, LLC (here after referred to as ‘Ardor’) will only provide background screening services to businesses with a permissible purpose and will abide by FCRA regulatory guidelines.
Ardor employees must pass a rigorous background check and sign a confidentiality agreement prior to hire. Ardor’s employees are trained in policy procedures for handling sensitive and personal information which may include but is not limited to name, social security number, date of birth, credit information, criminal record history, employment history and education verification.
Our clients will obtain a background check authorization in connection with an application or continued employment. Personal information gathered will be safeguarded when entered through our secure server. Transactions involving the use of personal information will be transmitted over a secure server, utilizing standard secure socket layer (SSL) encryption.
Documents and computer files containing social security number are reported with only the last four digits. When printing social security or date of birth information for faxing; information is redacted to ensure safety.
Ardor’s location has a security system and is electronically monitored. We also comply with FTC’s disposal rule which requires disposal procedures to prevent unauthorized access of a consumer’s personal information or report.
While providing services we may employ vendors or contractors to perform a function on our behalf. All vendors and contractors are contractually obligated to use and maintain information in the same manner as Ardor. These companies may not share any information with other companies, clients or contractors.
Violation of Ardor’s security policies are grounds for dismissal and criminal felony prosecution.
